An easy way of entering French accented letters (onscreen keyboard)

I have programmed a desktop application of this version, click here if you want it.
This is an on screen keyboard for typing in letters with an accent. I have made it because I got sick of typing in ALT codes and thought of an easier way.
This page requires JavaScript to work as I have written this free program in that language. If you want to download it, wait because I may do a separate downloadable version and I want to do a few more improvements to the software.
I have tested this on Firefox and Internet Explorer (version 6 and above) and it works for me BUT you need to allow scripts to run if you are using Internet Explorer (click the yellow box at the top of the window). I suggest you use FireFox because it works much better with this program and the internet.
You enter your text in the box below as normal. Whenever you want an accented letter, just click one of the buttons to enter that character. The character will be inserted where the cursor is.
When you have finished, click the button that says "Select all text", copy and paste the text where you want.
If you have made an error and the text disappears, press Ctrl+z to undo.

You can edit your text by simply pasting the text in to the edit box and edit as normal.

Improvements: I've set a 'select all text' button,I have changed the button values to unicode and now it inserts a character at the current cursor position. I have added an insert spaces button which puts spaces before and after the symbols ; : ! ? « »
Fixed: I've fixed the issue with pressing a button twice in succession. It should work fine now.
If it doesn't work, tell me what browser you are using and what version (by clicking Help, then About...)
